    Why visit Humantay Lake?

    Visiting the Laguna Humantay is an unforgettable experience in the Peruvian Andes. This stunning turquoise lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains near Cusco, offers breathtaking views and a perfect adventure for nature and hiking lovers.

    Itinerary

    Your adventure begins with an early hotel pickup in Cusco. From there, we will travel by comfortable transportation for approximately 2.5 hours to the picturesque village of Mollepata, located at around 3,000 meters above sea level. Here we will enjoy a delicious breakfast to start the day with energy.

    After breakfast, we continue our journey for about 1.5 hours through beautiful Andean landscapes until we reach Soraypampa, located at 3,900 meters above sea level.

    From Soraypampa, the hike to Humantay Lake begins. The trek takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, reaching an altitude of around 4,200 meters above sea level. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Andes and observe local flora and fauna.

    Upon arrival at Humantay Lake, you will have time to explore, take photos, and admire the incredible turquoise waters surrounded by glaciers and mountains. It is truly one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Peru.

    After enjoying the lake, we will hike back to Soraypampa where our transportation will be waiting for us. We will then return to Mollepata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

    Finally, we will travel back to Cusco, where the tour ends near Plaza Regocijo after approximately 13 hours of adventure.
