09:30 A.M. Our first stop will be the marina pier, where we will pass the SERNANP control and wait to board our speedboat to the Ballestas Islands. We will explore this incredible marine ecosystem for approximately two hours. We begin by stopping at the famous geoglyph known as “El Candelabro,” where the guide will explain the different theories about its origin. We then continue sailing with the ocean breeze until we reach the islands, surrounded by abundant wildlife. Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, numerous guano birds, and, if we are lucky, some curious dolphins await us. Don’t forget your camera!
After this exciting experience, we will head to enjoy an impressive ceviche cooking demonstration, Peru’s signature dish. You will also have the opportunity to taste this delicious dish, enjoying a unique sensory experience with its vibrant and slightly spicy flavors.
We then travel to Ica for approximately one hour to visit the winery “El Catador.” Here, we will have lunch, tour the facilities, and enjoy a tasting of local wines and piscos.
Next, we continue to the Huacachina Oasis. Upon arrival, we will hop into dune buggies (tubulares) to ride across the vast desert dunes. We will also try sandboarding from the top of the dunes. After this adrenaline-filled adventure, you will have free time to explore the oasis, take photos, and do some last-minute shopping.
05:00 P.M. Return journey to Lima.
