    Itinerary

    Day 01: Welcome to Peru – Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel

    Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, our staff will be waiting to welcome you to Peru and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest and acclimate.

    Day 02: Transfer from Hotel to Airport / Arrival in Cusco / City Tour

    Morning flight between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel.

    At 12:40 PM, enjoy a guided city tour of Cusco and its most important historical sites. Visit the iconic Qoricancha, once one of the most significant religious centers of the Inca Empire and a remarkable example of Inca and Spanish architecture.

    Continue to the nearby archaeological sites, starting with the impressive Sacsayhuamán, known for its massive stone structures and engineering precision. Then visit Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, a site associated with water rituals.

    Day 03: Discover Machu Picchu – Full-Day Experience

    We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to head straight for the train station that will take us to the famed archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Let’s get to know one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Take a seat as we settle in for one of the world’s most spectacular railway rides, traversing through breathtaking landscapes, as we come to our final destination. As we arrive at Aguas Calientes, we’ll board a bus for a short 30-minute ride and before we know it, we’ll arrive at the Lost City of the Incas. As we enter the archeological site, we’ll begin our guided visit of Machu Picchu. Full of wonder, mystery, and incredible engineering feats, the site offers various significant landmarks to discover. Along our route, we’ll visit several points of interest still standing centuries later, as we dive into the sacred symbolism and mythology behind Inca culture. Then, after an immersive experience, we’ll make the return

    to Aguas Calientes where you’ll have free time to enjoy a classic Peruvian lunch at any local restaurant nearby. Depending on the train schedule, we’ll enjoy free time in the village for 2-5 hours.Finally, we’ll return to Cusco and bring you back to your hotel, arriving anywhere from 15 to 18 hours later.

    Day 04: Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Trek – Breakfast, Lunch | or The Sacred Valley

    At 4:20 AM, we will pick you up from your Cusco hotel to begin this unforgettable experience.

    After a two-and-a-half-hour drive, we’ll reach the town of Tintinco, where we’ll enjoy breakfast to give us the energy we need for the Rainbow Mountain trek. Once satisfied, we’ll head to Llacto, arriving after an hour’s drive. Here, we will start the trekking route. Following the guide’s instructions, we will ascend through mystical peaks, encountering Andean animals such as alpacas, sheep, and vicuñas along the way. After about an hour and a half of climbing, we’ll reach the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca or the Mountain of Seven Colors. As soon as you see it, you’ll understand why it has earned a spot on National Geographic’s list of the 100 places to visit before you die. We’ll give you time to take photos, and then we’ll begin the descent back to the bus along the same route we came. Luckily, going down is easier than going up!

    We’ll return to Tintinco for a delicious buffet lunch – the best possible reward! After lunch, we’ll head back to Cusco’s center, dropping you off at the Plaza del Regocijo around 4:50 PM.

    Day 05: Scenic Ruta del Sol Journey – Cusco to Puno

    Pick up from hotel in Cuzco. We’ll set off on the Ruta del Sol at the scheduled time from Avenida 28 de Julio. An hour later, we’ll be arriving in Andahuaylillas, a beautiful Andean village where we’ll visit the San Pedro Apóstol church. Did you  know this it’s said to be «America’s Sistine Chapel»? Inside, we’ll admire outstanding works of sacred art, an exquisite combination of Renaissance and Baroque.From Andahuaylillas, we’ll continue on the Ruta del Sol towards the Raqchi archaeological site, where the remains of the ancient temple of the god Wiracocha are still preserved. How was this Andean deity worshipped? What legacy remains of this sacred cult? What happened to the devotees to this god after the arrival of the Spaniards? You’ll find out the answers to all these questions on the guided tour around the archaeological site.The next stop will be in a local restaurant, where we’ll go for an hour and fuel up with a buffet lunch. Then we’ll head to Abra La Raya: a magnificent mountain pass that’s over 4,300 metres high. After enjoying breathtaking views in this amazing place, we’ll move on to a fascinating interpretation centre in Pukara. The Ruta del Sol will end back at the meeting point in Puno, where we’ll arrive by 5:30 pm. Then Pick up you to hotel.

    Day 06: Lake Titicaca Experience – Uros Floating Islands & Taquile

    Having picked you up from your hotel at the designated time, we’ll head to the port in Puno. Here, we’ll board a boat and take a speedboat on Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake, located at 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) above sea level.The first stop on our tour of Lake Titicaca will be the famous floating Uros Islands. We’ll step off the boat and explore one of the main islands to meet the Uru people who live here. The locals will tell us all about their ancestors’ pre-Inca culture, one of the oldest in the Andean Altiplano, as we admire the impressive artificial archipelago on which they live. Did you know that the islands are made from a plant called Totora? Next, we’ll set sail once again and head to Taquile Island; the largest island on Lake Titicaca, enjoying the incredible lake and mountain views on the way. Reaching

    Taquile, we’ll delve into local culture discovering the weaving techniques used by the island’s inhabitants to make their famous textiles.Afterwards, we’ll make a stop to renew energy with a delicious traditional lunch (optional), before saying farewell to the islands of Lake Titicaca.At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped back off at your hotel in Puno after a total of 8 hours.

    Day 07: Return Flight to Lima & Transfer to Hotel

    At the agreed time, we will transfer you from the hotel to Juliaca Airport, depending on your flight schedule.

    Day 08: City Tour in Colonial and Modern Lima with Pisco Sour Tasting

    At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel.

    At 9:00 AM, begin your city tour with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial center dating back to the 4th century A.D.

    Continue to the Historic Center of Lima, where you will explore the old “Lima Cuadrada” and admire its most important colonial landmarks, including the Plaza Mayor of Lima, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, and Paseo de la República.

    You will also visit the impressive San Francisco Monastery, famous for its colonial art and its underground catacombs.

    Finally, discover the modern districts of Lima, including San Isidro and Miraflores, with stops at El Olivar, Larcomar, and the Love Park.

    Day 09: Departure Transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport
